About the Foundation

The Jay Kistler Foundation-A Better Life™, Inc. was formed as a Massachusetts chapter 180 nonprofit corporation on March 3,2008. The organization has received Federal tax-exemption under the IRS Section 501(c)(3) of the Code, and is classified as a public charity. The organization’s Section 501(c)(3) status is retroactive to the date of formation. Charitable contributions to organizations described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Code and classified as a public charity are deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors should consult a tax advisor if they have any questions about the extent to which a contribution may be deducted.
